How she does it....
Using a kistka, she begins to draw the design with melted beeswax.
First layer of design is almost complete.
The egg is dyed yellow.  Now she waxes over everything she wants to be yellow.  She adds green and waxes over it.

Wax is melted off by a flame
Egg is ready to receive three days of polyeurethane
About the jewelry...
She begins on a goose egg and continues on as above for chicken egg.
For both chicken and goose, she uses a magnifier to help her see detail.
She cuts the goose egg using a dremel tool.
After cutting
Then, epoxy is added to the back to give the shell strength.
The jewelry is laid out on a rack to receive several days of polyeurethane.
Wax is melted off of the egg.
